Learn, Play, and Level Up Your AI Skills at USask Library

USask is committed to helping students build strong, responsible, and future-ready artificial intelligence (AI) skills. To help support this mission, the USask Library is hosting two hands-on events to put a fun spin on learning with AI.

These opportunities align directly with USask’s Student Guidelines for Responsible AI Use, which encourages learners to understand how and when to use AI effectively, verify outputs, think critically, and prioritize academic integrity.

Join us at these upcoming events:

Put AI to the Test: AI Prompting Carnival (In Person)

Date: Feb. 25, 2026
Time: Drop in between 3 – 6 PM
Locations: Murray Library Room 161 (Computer Lab) & Murray Library Room 102

Come experiment, explore, and improve your AI prompting skills in a casual carnival style environment! If your CoPilot prompts fall flat, if you aren’t sure where to start, or if you’re curious about how different prompts produce different outputs, this is the place to be.

Students can:

  • Practice prompting with support from digital skills tutors
  • Ask questions about AI outputs and how to evaluate them
  • Test their AI knowledge through interactive activities
  • Win prizes - like a Kobo ereader, a power bank, and more - while building practical, responsible AI habits

No registration required.
